Duck Pond Birthday

  We have 2 July birthdays on my side of the family (Porter & Madi) so we celebrate them together at the Weber State Pop concert & fireworks.  These aren't just any ol fireworks, these are set the ginormous blanket out the night before, sweat your body parts off kind of fireworks and has been a family tradition for as long as i've been around.  We've added the birthdays and a Mrs. Fields cookie cake to it and it has worked out great.

In just 6 years?

It's gone by so fast I can't believe it!

Here's a list of my 6 favorite things about this guy.

#6. Comes up from his room every morning fully dressed & ready for the day, puts his pjs in the hamper and climbs in bed with me so we can watch phineas & Ferb.

#5. He is a helper. If you need a extra hand he is your go-to guy.

#4. If you looked up jumping jacks in the dictionary you would find his picture.

#3. He's totally into Hotwheels right now.  It's a change from super heroes, but at $0.99 a pop who cares.

#2. Loves his sister and brother 98% Of the time.  That's very impressive in my book.

And my #1. fav thing about the 6 year old Mr. Britt is he is so sweet & kind.  He treats everyone as his friend. I know this probably won't last forever, but it is our goal to teach our kids to treat others as we want to be treated. so far so good.
