I've been reading alot of blogs that re-fashion clothes... as in turning your old crap into something great..
sure, i'll try it.....cheap....I love cheap....free.... even better.
I began by looking in my closet for something I don't wear or shouldn't wear anymore.
Bring on the T.J Maxx jacket from 10th grade.
yes you read that right 10th grade. don't laugh, you never know when you might need a ugly red jacket.
I did it, I thought today is the day i will get rid of this wretched thing.
I started cutting & cutting...and sewing & sewing...until...
Wah-Lah
Jacket turned skirt
Some ruffles, some pockets & there you have it, my first RE-Fashion.
I wish I would have taken a before pic, it was pretty ugly ( why doesn't anyone tell me these things?)
oh don't worry I have more re-fashions to come- Mah Hah hah hah

Yea, I am totally gonna need some before and after picts. I wish I had more time to sew. I've got a few "projects" I've been meaning to get to...
ReplyDeletego stef!! you domestic diva! i love it!
ReplyDeletei keep seeing so many re-fashion ideas on blogs too and it makes me sad i just took a ton of stuff to the di, but you have inspired me to go through my closet and find some things i can re-fashion.
